Popcorn
Ingredients
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter, melted
Equipment
- Large saucepan or stockpot with a lid.
Instructions
Heat up stock pot on medium heat, add oil, then kernels, then stir to coat.
Cover and cook for about 5 minutes. The popcorn will pop, and eventually slow down.
While the popcorn is cooking, melt the butter and set aside.
Turn off heat when popping slows down to about 1 every 10 seconds. Careful not to overcook and burn the popcorn.
Transfer popcorn to a bowl, cover with melted butter and salt, and mix/stir/shake or otherwise agitate the food.
Ready to serve!
