Water (10x the amount of rice)
Short grain rice
Salt to taste
Sliced scallions (optional)
Preserved eggs (optional)
Bits of chicken meat (optional)
- Slow cooker
Rinse the rice until clear.
Place the rice in the slow cooker.
Add the water and chicken. The chicken is optional, but adds a nice touch of flavor.
Cook overnight on low. Done.
Before serving, toss in the preserved eggs, sliced, and top with the scallions.
